The Best Global Universities Ranking by U.S. News & World Report covers a total of 38 subject rankings and evaluated nearly 1,500 top universities across 86 countries using over 10 research performance indicators, namely number of publications and books, total number of citations, global and regional research reputation, and international collaboration. Across all the ranking indicators and weights, CUHK is listed No.11 globally, No.4 in Asia and No.1 in Hong Kong with an outstanding score of 84 in Computer Science.
U.S. News全球最佳大學學科排名涵蓋38個學科，全球86個國家近1,500所著名院校。透過評估院校在各學科研究的十多項表現和指標，作為世界排名的依據，包括研究文獻的發表數量、研究書籍出版量、被引述次數（Citation）、全球及地區的學術聲譽 （Global and regional research reputation）、國際合作（International collaboration）等。在各項指標中，中大計算機科學研究範疇表現理想，總評分達84分，位列全球第十一位，亞洲第四位及香港第一位。
