Double Major

To equip students with professional training in journalism and communication as well as academic training in sociology, the School of Journalism and Communication and the Department of Sociology launch the double major options in Journalism and Communication Programme and Sociology Programme with effect from 2013-14. Students will be awarded two majors upon completion of studies.

Students admitted to and major in Journalism and Communication Programme or Sociology Programme (4-year curriculum) in 2013-14 and thereafter are eligible to apply. Some tailor-made arrangements are made for the double major options. Participating students will need to fulfill the requirements of two majors in five years of studies. Application details will be announced via email during summer break.
