Minor Programme in Journalism and Communication

Minor Programme Requirement (Applicable to students admitted in 2015-16 and thereafter)

Students are required to complete a minimum of 18 units of courses as follows:

   Units
(a) COMM1110  3
(b) 15 units of COMM courses, with at least 6 units of courses at 3000 or above level 15
 Total: 18

 


Minor Programme Requirement (Applicable to 4-year curriculum students admitted in 2014-15 or before)

Students are required to complete a minimum of 18 units of courses as follows:

   Units
(a) COMM1110 or 1140  3
(b) 15 units of COMM courses, with at least 6 units of courses at 3000 or above level 15
 Total: 18

 

 

Explanatory Notes:

      1. Requirement for registration in Minors: Students should have obtained a pass or above in COMM1110 or COMM1140 before registration in Minor.
      2. Registration as a Minor in Journalism and Communication in no way guarantees enrolment in courses with quotas due to limited facilities and manpower.
      3. Minor programme in Global Communication is not provided.
