This September, the College launched “CC Live”, a series of online sharing sessions held via Zoom in every Thursday evening. The aim of launching this programme is to encourage CC students to share different aspects of College life and experiences to their fellow students, even though we are physically apart amid the pandemic situation. 10/9 Topic: CC Student Bodies Funfair Representatives from various CC student bodies, including CC Student Union, CC Debating Team, Liu Yi Tang (Non-resident Hall), CC Christian Fellowship, CC the Suns, Chung Chi International Association (CCIA), CC Toastmasters Club , Uni-Y® (CCC CUHK) and CC Photography Society, shared with us the interesting culture and activities of these societies.
17/9 Topic: Chat with College Head A chit-chat session with Prof. Fong Wing Ping, Head of the College. Students were invited to share their thoughts and opinions on College’s work.
24/9 Topic: Cultural Fun Students from different countries met together to share their unique culture. The executive committee members of CCIA (Chung Chi International Association) also prepared some fun games to interact with participants.
8/10 Topic: How to FLY Five students who had been supported by FLY Award were invited to share their fruitful & eye-opening experience gained across the globe. They also shared tips on successful application for the Award.
15/10 Topic: Exchange: Once-in-a-lifetime Experience Five returned exchange students were invited to share their amazing and eye-opening exchange experience.
22/10 Topic: I go to school by plane - Overseas Summer Schools Four past participants, who had joined the Summer Study Abroad Programme (SSAP), were invited to share their experience of studying in University of Cambridge in 2019.
29/10 Topic: Hostel Life Members and former members of the Student Resident Association from different hostels were invited to share their experience about hostel life with other CC buddies.
5/11 Topic: Live Chat with Scholarship Recipients Scholarship recipients were invited to share their experience in applying College's scholarships. They also shared the tips on how to prepare for the scholarship interview.
12/11 Topic: Chung Chi College Creativity Awards To have an overview of the Creativity Awards Scheme, 2 past awardees of “Dreaming Through Chung Chi Scheme” and“Seeds of Good Deeds” project award were invited to share their awarded projects and experience.
19/11 Topic: Sports Live Three CC athletes were invited to share their experience and tips on how to be an athlete and college student at the same time successfully. They also talked about FU CUP and how college support CC-ers for developing their sport live.
26/11 Topic: Chung Chi Mentor Programme Mentor and Mentees from last year’s Programme were invited to share their experience in participating the Mentor Programme. |
