Scholarship and Financial Aid

  • Scholarship offered by the Department of Social Work
    • Ma Lai-chong, Joyce Scholarship
      The Scholarship is to support one/ two non-local recipients of “Master of Social Science in Social Work Scholarship”, who are with financial needs, for their living expenses in Hong Kong during their study period. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to submit an application to compete for the Scholarship.
    • Master of Social Science in Social Work Scholarship
      This is an Admission Scholarship. It is awarded to outstanding students of the full-time and part-time MSSc Programme. Applicants who receive admission offers will be automatically considered to compete for the Scholarship.
    • Distinguished Academic Scholarship for Master of Social Science in Social Work Students
    • The Big Fish Award
    • Eva Wong Li Bik Chi Social Work Memorial Scholarship
    • Non-local Field Placement Award, Madam Tan Jen Chiu Fund


  • Scholarship and Award offered by the University

    Both full-time and part-time students who satisfy conditions may apply for “Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme” administered by the Student Financial Assistance Agency of the Hong Kong Government.  For details, please visit here.
