In collaboration with School of Chinese Medicine, a seminar on Herbal Genomics and Application was given by Prof. Shilin Chen, Director of Institute of Chinese Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. Prof. Chen presented the updated research on molecular authentication techniques for herbal material and the utilization of genetic information for conservation of herbal material and development of medicinal plant resources.
