Course Description | This introductory course in management will focus in the discussions of the four major functions of modern management, namely, planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. We will also try to learn to appreciate the art and science of management.
Moreover, there are four special topics in modern management in this course, namely, Communication, Decision Making, Management of International Business, and Entrepreneurship. This is a first course in management. Like many other first courses, this course is a survey of basic functions in the subject—management. Many subsequent courses in your major will build on the concepts that you come across in this course. |
