Course Description | This course aims to provide a basic understanding about the role of nurses in delivering patient care in clinical settings. The following topics will be covered:
Active learning is encouraged through a variety of instructional methods such as online mini-lectures, short quizzes, interactive activities, group discussions and presentations and video presentations. Students will learn variety of nursing skills such as wound dressing and administering various medications using the latest simulated technology. In addition, students will get to interact with nurses and other members of the healthcare team to learn more about their roles in the healthcare system. |
