Special Notice

A confirmed case of COVID-19 was reported earlier to have visited 15/F Oriental Centre. The Management Office of Oriental Centre and CUSCS have completed thorough disinfection and cleaning accordingly. The enrolment counter at Oriental Centre will resume service on 9 March (Tuesday). Users of CUSCS Learning Centre should carry on to observe the COVID-19 monitoring measures.

114 Students Receive HKSAR Self-Financing Post-Secondary Scholarship

114 Higher Diploma students received scholarships from the Hong Kong SAR Government under the "Self-Financing Post-Secondary Scholarship Scheme". Mr. Kevin Y.H. Yeung, Secretary for Education, officiated at the Presentation Ceremony held earlier at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.  A fashion collection “Ceaseless Pursuit” designed by Li Jieyi, an awardee of “Outstanding Performance Scholarship” and student of Higher Diploma in Fashion Design and Business, was displayed at the event.  The collection presents the image of “map” in different ways, implying her anxiety when studying in an unfamiliar environment as well her determination to map out her own path in pursuing her dreams.

 

Of the awardees, 29 were presented with the "Outstanding Performance Scholarships" for their outstanding academic achievement, while eight students received the "Best Progress Awards" for their significant academic progress and improvement.  Four students were awarded the “Talent Development Scholarships” for their achievements or talent in non-academic areas. The other 73 students received the “Reaching Out Awards” and the “Endeavour Scholarships” respectively.
