You should have completed either an Associate Degree or a Higher Diploma programme in a related discipline or with equivalent qualifications. You should also demonstrate an appropriate standard of English. Please refer to the programme page for information in detail.

Yes, the award is conferred by the overseas university. It will have equal status to those awarded to resident graduates by the universities.

The CUSCS top-up undergraduate programme is an exempted course under the Non-Local Higher and Professional Education (Regulation) Ordinance. The programme is also locally accredited by HKCAAVQ at QF Level 5 (equivalent to the standing of local bachelor’s degrees). It is a matter of discretion for individual employers to recognise any qualifications to which the course may lead.

(I) You may submit your application form to one of our enrolment centres either by post or in person with the following:

  1.  A non-refundable application fee of HK$200 by crossed cheque or bank draft made payable to “The Chinese University of Hong Kong”;
  2. A copy of Hong Kong identity card or relevant identification document;
  3. A copy of certificates and transcripts of all relevant academic qualifications, e.g. AD, HD, HKAL, HKCEE, HKDSE, etc;
  4. Proof of recent English Language proficiency, e.g. IELTS, if any;
  5. A portfolio CD/DVD which includes video, interactive media, motion graphics and animation.

(II) You may apply online.

Note: All of the above documents will need to be verified against the original copies. The verification process can be done at our enrolment centres or during interview, if any. Tuition fees paid are not refundable, except in cases of unsuccessful application and programme cancellation.

You may be required to attend an admission interview in-person or online via Skype or Zoom, subject to the review of individual applications. You will be informed accordingly should an interview is required.

Normally, you will be notified of the admission result about four weeks from our receipt of your application.

Yes, students can apply for Government means-tested grant and low interest loan under the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) or Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) if they comply with the Scheme’s requirements.

Lectures and tutorials are taught by academic staff appointed or approved by Flinders University.

All lectures and tutorials are conducted in English. All student assessments, both written and oral, are in English.
