Exhibition Zone B, 1/F, AIT Building, CUHKWith the theme of “context”, this symposium brings together research postgraduate students from a wide range of disciplines to present their current studies and share the “context” of their research. Researchers and practitioners from different countries and areas of knowledge such as urban design and planning, landscape architecture, architectural theory and history, and building technology are also participating in the event.
Wang Zhenfei, Director of HDDFUN, and Joshua Lau, Principal and Founder of OPUX, are the keynote speakers for this symposium, which consists of four sessions: Urbanism, History and Theory, Structure and Technology (Sessions I and II). Each session features about six presenters to redefine “context”, followed by a discussion with the keynote speakers on the topic.
Context – Research Postgraduates Symposium 2017 is organised by the Research Postgraduate Students at the School of Architecture, and is open to teachers and students in relevant fields from CUHK and other educational institutions. No registration fee is required.
