Date & Time
10.09.2018 21.09.2018Mon - Sat, 09:00 - 21:00
Location
G/F Atrium, AIT Building, CUHKThe exhibition highlights Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates’ (KPF) achievement in craft.
From supertall mixed-use towers to low-rise residential neighbourhoods, the 16 projects on display represent a diverse range of building typologies, stressing the integration of local cultures and landscapes. Illustrated through case studies, the exhibition chronicles KPF’s intimate, complex practice of choosing, manufacturing and applying materials, emphasising the role of the fabricator and the future of computational architecture. The result is a thoughtful demonstration of KPF’s prowess in the design of high quality and contextually sensitive buildings, while celebrating the architect as collaborator, investigator, problem-solver, and maker.
