BSSc graduate selected as finalist at Architizer One Drawing Challenge 2020

CUHK architecture graduate Matthew Choy (BSSc 2020) has been selected as a finalist in the Student category at this year’s Architizer One Drawing Challenge 2020 for his work “The Censored Materials Archive”. The drawing depicts an imaginary museum which showcases censored materials, with spatially ambiguous galleries that have no visual connections between them, thereby reflecting the controversial and disputing nature of the materials displayed.

Architizer One Drawing Challenge is one of the biggest drawing competitions of architecture, tasking participants to create one drawing that communicates a new architectural proposal or existing piece of architecture, and the experience of those that would inhabit it.
