Language Awareness for Teachers 3

The main objective of this course is to help students learn academic writing through the process approach. Specifically, this course will focus on the development of informative and persuasive writing based on library and Internet research. Coursework includes writing a critical article review, composing a formal persuasive/argumentative essay, and compiling a reflective portfolio. Students are given opportunities for revision after receiving feedback from peers and the instructor.
