About the Speaker
Prof. Palmer is an internationally recognised expert in stress management & counselling. He received his PhD from South Bank University. His current positions include Founder Director of Centre for Coaching, London; Honorary Professor of Psychology at City University, Dept. of Psychology, London; Visiting Professor of Work Based Learning & Stress Management at National Centre for Work Based Learning Partnerships, Middlesex University and First Chair of British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology.
Prof. Palmerˇ¦s research interest and publications include stress management, counselling, psychotherapy, cross-cultural counselling, cognitive therapy, REBT, MMT, problem focused counselling, coaching; counselling in a multicultural society, trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder , cognitive behaviour therapy , integrative and eclectic counselling & psychotherapy.
