College Premises
|
The design appreciates the traditional CUHK building elements and will present them in modern architectural language through a series of three linked buildings for the College Campus. Enclosed by the three wings is a central piazza which aims to create a sense of community and identity for a small college of 300 students. The buildings adopt a tripartite section approach with the living accommodation on top, the dining facilities, administrative, teaching and conference facilities occupying the base, and the student communal facilities and activities floor sandwiched in between. Careful considerations have been given to the facilities location and distribution for a fully-residential and communal dining college. |
