Webinar on ‘Perspectives of COVID-19 Pandemics: Epidemiology, Prevention and Control’ (30 September)
The inaugural APRU Crisis Management Webinar on ‘Perspectives of COVID-19 Pandemics: Epidemiology, Prevention and Control’ is led by UCLA Fielding School of Public Health in collaboration with three other APRU universities: The University of Sydney, National University of Singapore and Peking University.
This webinar will compare and contrast the epidemiological patterns and intervention strategies (risk communication, face masking, social distance, personal hygiene, stay home order, tracing and isolation, etc) among four countries in the Pacific Rim, summarize experience and lessons learned during the prevention and control of COVID-19, and identify potential challenges, solutions, and opportunities for control of the pandemic.
