CUHK takes part in APRU Senior International Leaders’ Meeting
Prof. Wong Suk-ying, Associate Vice-President and Ms. Shally Fan, Director of Academic Links, CUHK took part in the 16th APRU Senior International Leaders’ Meeting held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology during 8 to 10 October 2018 to help formulate a new strategic plan for the Association. Serving as an advisory body of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU), the meeting provided advice and strategic thinking in drawing up the plan.
As the only network of leading universities linking the Americas, Asia and Australasia, APRU is the Voice of Knowledge and Innovation for the Asia-Pacific region. With a membership of 50 research universities, it brings together thought leaders, researchers, and policy-makers to exchange ideas and collaborate on effective solutions to the challenges of the 21st Century.
CUHK has been actively engaged in the activities of APRU. Faculty members are encouraged to capitalise on APRU to build and strengthen their international research and network.
