Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF), 11-12 December 2020
The Cyberport will organise the Digital Entertainment Leadership Forum (DELF) during 11-12 December 2020. Featuring academics, students and industry leaders, the virtual event will lead the industry to identify market drivers and tap the global trend of esportification to effectively cope with the new normal. It will also stage a series of live tournaments, show matches, performances, start-up showcases and a pitching contest to offer participants an innovative virtual experience! As part of DELF, the first Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU) eSport MetaGame Conference will be held on Saturday, 12 December 2020 at 9.00am (HK Time). It will focus on Hong Kong as an emerging Esports leader in the region and examine ways an international network of Esports leaders can further its scope within universities from Esports as digital entertainment to developing career pathways for students in the Esports ecosystem. Prof. CHUNG Peichi of the Department of Cultural and Religious Studies will be speaking at the session on ‘Global Exchange: Emerging Esports Ecosystems’.
