PASS Leader Recruitment for UGFH1000 In Dialogue with Humanity (2011/12)

Recruitment Details

Duties The PASS Leaders are expected to lead one or two groups of weekly one-hour study session in both Term 1 and Term 2 of 2011/12 for students of UGFH1000 in either Cantonese, Putonghua, or English, and to attend the weekly lectures.

Eligibility All Students who have high performance in UGFH1000 are welcome to apply. As the PASS sessions will be conducted in Cantonese, Putonghua, or English, fluency of all these three languages are preferred.

Training Successful applicants will be required to attend a two-day training in the week of 29 August to 4 September. The training equips PASS leaders with skills of facilitation, public speaking, leadership and problem-solving.

Remuneration and rewards Remuneration of $50 per hour will be offered to the PASS Leaders. Each PASS Leader will also receive a certificate jointly issued by University of Wollongong, the Australasia centre of PASS, and CUHK upon completion of the program.
