The Office of Academic Links (OAL) recently ran an electronic direct mail (eDM) campaign themed ‘CUHK Leading the Combat against Asian Prevalent Cancers’ with Times Higher Education (THE) to showcase the University’s research excellence in four Asian prevalent cancers, including gastrointestinal, nasopharyngeal, lung and liver cancers. CUHK’s multi-disciplinary capacity and talent and the impact of its cancer research were highlighted in the campaign. The eDM has reached over 40,000 global subscribers, comprising primarily professional audience such as academics, researchers and university leaders.

OAL has been promoting CUHK’s teaching and research excellence through branding campaigns with THE and another key international agency, QS, since 2016. Apart from direct mails, CUHK has been featured in a wide range of publicity channels on THE and QS, including profile pages, digital and print advertisements, advertorials and social media. Through continuous engagement with these two agencies, the University aims to sustain a strong presence in the international education arena, and thereby attract talented international students to pursue studies at CUHK and strengthen its reputation worldwide.
