GE Salon 2020-21 Choices of the Times II
When and where we are born is not given to us to choose. If the lucky ones can select their favourite place to live, no one can escape their time. What, however, we can choose is how we live in our time. What we do here and now for us and for others is in our hands. To neglect such possibility is to evade a responsibility.
The theme of this year GE Salon is “Choices of the Times”. Through lectures and films on specific issues in history, politics, education, etc... together we will reflect, struggle and try to arrive at choices of the times.
