Prof. Rocky S. Tuan speaks in the session ‘What’s Killing Us? The Age of Resistant Diseases’ at the THE Research Excellence Summit: Asia-Pacific.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Rocky S. Tuan took part in the Times Higher Education (THE) Research Excellence Summit: Asia-Pacific at The University of New South Wales, Australia in February 2019. He spoke in the session ‘What’s Killing Us? The Age of Resistant Diseases’ and talked about degenerative diseases and the promises and challenges of regenerative medicine, and encouraged universities to cultivate innovators.

More than 240 representatives from universities, government, and industry from around the world joined the summit to discuss the positive and long-term impact of university research on society in the Asia-Pacific region and share best practices for building impact towards the fundamental goal of making the world a better place.
