Vice-Chancellor leads CUHK delegation to North America
The CUHK delegation visits Johns Hopkins University.
A high-level delegation led by Prof. Rocky S. Tuan, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, visited a number of renowned institutions in the US and Canada in October 2018. The delegation comprised Prof. FOK Tai-fai, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Prof. CHAN Wai-yee, Pro-Vice-Chancellor; Mr. Eric Ng, Vice-President (Administration) and University Secretary; and representatives from engineering, medicine, sociology, and geography and resource management. The visits reaffirmed the University’s partnerships with its long time partners such as Yale University and the Yale-China Association as well as paved way for future collaborations in medicine and engineering with institutions that are at the forefront of research in these fields, including Johns Hopkins University, Boston Children’s Hospital and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. At the University of Toronto, the delegation was joined by members of the Vice-Chancellor’s Global Alumni Advisory Board and heard about the exciting developments the University of Toronto is making in promoting the spirit of innovation on its campus.
The CUHK delegation is warmly hosted by Yale-China Association at Yale University.
