Master’s Degree (2016-2017) Graduation Ceremony

The Master’s Degree 2016-2017 Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Social Science was held on 17 November 2017 at the University Mall. About 1,100 Master’s Degree graduates and 2,000 guests attended the Ceremony which was presided at by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Professor Fok Tai-fai. He said, “You are the talents the University has cultivated, and we count on you to serve the needs of mankind with your knowledge and skills, and even more importantly, with passion and compassion, and with honesty and integrity.”

In addition, Dr. York Chow Yat-Ngok, the Former Secretary for Food and Health, HKSAR Government and the Former Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission, officiated the event. In extending his congratulations to graduates, Dr. Chow encouraged them to unleash their potential and make positive contributions to the society in future. The Faculty has conferred a total of 1,317 master’s degrees this year.
