CUHK takes part in APRU Senior International Leaders’ Meeting

Prof. WONG Suk-ying, Associate Vice-President, and Ms. Shally Fan, Director of Academic Links, took part in the APRU Senior International Leaders’ Meeting themed ‘Advancing a Just, Sustainable, and Prosperous World: University Impact and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs)’ at the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada during 18-20 September 2019. Over 50 participants were brought together to discuss new initiatives to strengthen collaborations between members, including student mobility programmes focusing on SDGs, and to push forward APRU’s new Strategic Plan.

During the meeting, Prof. WONG Suk-ying gave an update on the Asia Pacific Women in Leadership Programme together with Prof. Kathy Belov, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) of the University of Sydney and Prof. Sara-Jane Finlay, Associate Vice-President for Equity and Inclusion of UBC.
