Important Notice from Student Hostel Committee "Let’s work hand in hand to fight against novel coronavirus infection" Chung Chi College

Dear residents of Chung Chi student hostels,

Further to the University announcement made on January 23 and 25 in respond to the Novel Infectious Disease, the followings will be enforced at the College student hostels with immediate effect:

1.  All students are encouraged to stay home and NOT coming back to the hostels, especially when classes are suspended till Feb 17.

2. If you really need to come back to the student hostels, you must abide the following arrangements which are meant to reduce physical interactions among students to reduce the possible spreading of the infection:

a. NO visitor is allowed to get into hostels.

b. residents need to mark the log EVERY TIME you gets IN and OUT of the hostel, so that an accurate record can be retrieved if needed.

c. ALL residents need to fill in the Health Declaration Form the first day you come back to the hostel and the Self medical surveillance form and record the temperature and other situations for 14 days.

d.  All residents shall wear MASK when they stay at communal area, and wash hand more frequently.

e.  residents who do not feel well, or aware of any neighbors who do not feel well MUST REPORT to the Warden immediately so that we can help and also have a full picture of the situation.

Again, it will be much better if students can stay home and avoid interaction with different people.  We can win and have the situation under control only if all of us follow the instructions together, though it could be inconvenient and bothering.  Your understanding and cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Wishing you all a healthy year of Rat ahead!
