Research Interests

Chemical biology and synthetic biology

— with a focus on subcellular structures, such as organelles and protein coacervates, and their biocatalytic and biomedical applications.

1. Protein reactions: site-selective protein reactions (cysteine, tyrosine to lysine reactions); reactions of proteins, enzymes, antibodies to organelles
2. Protein assembly: multienzyme complexes, synthetic metabolon and synthetic organelles
3. Protein biomaterials: cartilage and skin regeneration and anti-infection
