- CUHK provides innovative and advanced training for overseas and Hong Kong engineers in our Master of Biomedical Engineering, Master of Automation / Mechanical Engineering or Master of Information Engineering programmes.
- Master of Information Engineering, Master of Mechanical Engineering, Master of Automation Engineering and Master of Biomedical Engineering are Hong Kong’s four major streams in master level study in the field of engineering. The programmes are directed by the Faculty of Engineering, CUHK, which was established by the Nobel Laureate in Physics 2009 and “Father of Optical Fiber Communication” VC Professor Sir Charles Kao in 1991.
In Hong Kong, graduates of Master of Automation Engineering, Master of Biomedical Engineering, Master of Information Engineering and Master of Mechanical Engineering altogether play a crucial role in enhancing people’s quality of life and addressing the challenges brought about by the ever changing social environment in Hong Kong’s golden period for technology innovation.
The Faculty of Engineering of The Chinese University of Hong Kong is a perfect training ground for engineers at all levels, of all sub-fields, as well as a cutting-edge technology transfer and scientific research hub. The first Chinese scholar who have won the Turing Award Academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences, IEEE Fellows, and many other scholars, well support the development of the Faculty and the delivery of master programmes, helping graduates to tackle the challenges ahead and grab the opportunities to make the world a better place to live by utilising their solid knowledge in different fields of engineering, their innovative ideas and their dedicated hard work.
