To: Research Postgraduate Students & Taught Doctoral Students who intend to graduate in 2020-21

For research postgraduate and taught doctoral students who wish to graduate in 2020-21, please note the following:

1. By end of January 2021, complete and submit Form TAS-1 to the Graduate School to declare intention to submit a thesis (at least four months before actual submission). Form TAS-1 is downloadable from the “Procedures and Forms” under the “Thesis” section on the GS Platform (Students) (https://www.gradsch.cuhk.edu.hk/pgstudent/main.htm).

2. By 31 May 2021, submit the first draft of the thesis.

3. By 31 August 2021, submit the final version of the thesis when the final grade of the thesis is available on the GS Platform (Students).

Please also note that students are not allowed to submit a thesis in the following situations:

1. Students are on leave.
2. The External Examiner(s) have not accepted the invitation if the External Examiner(s) is/are appointed.
