THESIS TOPIC

Differential treatment in the regulation of international aviation emissions, co-supervised by Professors Jae Woon LEE and Benoit MAYER.

RESEARCH INTERESTS AND AIMS

I am interested in international aviation law and international environmental law, especially the climate change law. With my thesis, I hope to analyze and reconcile the tension between the principles of international environmental law and international aviation law. Based on the above analysis, I will propose a more effective multilateral scheme to achieve the aspirational environmental goals in the field of international civil aviation. And this research will also contribute to the development and implementation of the UNFCCC regime.
