PHYS3023 Introduction to Quantum Information Physics

The course is an introduction to the physics of quantum computing and quantum communication at the undergraduate level. Topics include: qubits, quantum gates and quantum circuit model, entanglement and quantum teleportation, quantum algorithms, quantum decoherence and quantum error correction. Prerequisite: PHYS3021 or its equivalents, or permission of instructor.
