Project E Twin Building Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony

Chung Chi College held the Project E Twin Building foundation stone laying ceremony today on 25 October, marking the start of construction of the building. Project E is a twin building located at the site of the old staff quarters, Block E, and will include a student hostel with 300 places, a Digital Culture and Art Creativity Centre, an Alumni Activity Centre and more. It is expected to be completed in the 2026-27 academic year, providing modern campus facilities for students, staff and alumni. EXPLORE MORE

“Chung Chi for Excellence”Fundraising Banquet Held Successfully

The “Chung Chi for Excellence” Fundraising Banquet was successfully held on 29 November! Over 110 College trustees, teachers, staff members, and friends joined together to raise funds for Project E and support the development of Chung Chi College. EXPLORE MORE

The 2nd Walk for Excellence Held Successfully

The 2nd “Walk for Excellence: Project E Walkathon” was held on 18 May 2024 at the Peak. It attracted over a hundred alumni and supporters who participated in the event with their family members and friends, generating strong momentum for the development of the College. Starting from the Harlech Road Work-out Area, the participants passed through Harlech Road, Lugard Road, and reached Peak Road, enjoying the beautiful scenery of Victoria Harbour with their bodies and minds relaxed. The event raised over HK$2.2 million, more than double the original target of HK$1 million─ an edifying result for all concerned. Construction Progress of Project E

It has been almost half a year since the groundbreaking ceremony of Project E on 22 August 2023. The demolition work of the old Staff Quarters Block E began in December and is almost completed. We will soon carry out the site formation and commence the foundation works of the new buildings. EXPLORE MORE

“Natural Realm: Unconventional Beauty of Abstract Visions” Visual Art Exhibition by Carol Tsang has successfully concluded! Being the first large-scale art exhibition organised in the LG4 Gallery of Kunkle Student Centre, it provided a space for teachers, students, alumni, and visitors to nourish their souls with art. The College held the "Fond Farewell and Warm Welcome" Singing for Excellence Fundraising Banquet on Friday, 20 Oct 2023, bidding farewell to Professor Fong Wing Ping, the immediate former College Head, and welcoming Professor Kwan Mei Po, the new College Head. The College held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Block E Redevelopment Project (known as “Project E”) on Tuesday, 22 Aug 2023, marking the commencement of the construction and the milestone for the College’s campus development. The building is expected to be completed by the end of 2026, bringing students and teachers a modernized campus which will enhance their learning and living experience with idea and innovation exchange.
