Online Application Form

Online application is open from 2 September 2019; the application fee is HK$300. You can access the application form at https://www.gs.cuhk.edu.hk/admissions/admissions/how-to-apply. In your application, please indicate your planned stream of study (Chinese Arts and Culture or Issues in Contemporary China) at "field of study".

Supporting Documents

In addition to a completed application form and the application fee, all required supporting documents in hardcopies must be received by the deadline.

Please quote applicant full name and application number in all communications with the Programme Office, incoming enquiries without quoting the above information may not be processed and responded. You are not expected to correspond with a faculty member regarding your application.

Deadlines

Applications should reach the Programme Office by 17:00 Hong Kong time on the application deadline date, and should include all required supporting documents. Applications submitted beyond the below-mentioned deadlines will be considered on a rolling basis until spaces are filled.

Decision Notification

The Admission Committee considers each application holistically, based on all information provided and the overall strength of applicants. No single factor is decisive. Due to confidentiality concerns, we will only release your application result via email to the address that is associated with your online application. We do not respond to requests for an early decision, or provide feedback to declined applicants.
