Tranquil moments are important in a hectic life. During term time in 2019/20, the College Chaplain’s Office has organized “Midday Oasis” concerts, inviting singers and musicians from and outside CUHK to perform vocal and instrumental music at the College Chapel. In the oasis of the mind, staff members and students refreshed and refueled themselves with beautiful sound. The concerts were also broadcasted to the Hong Kong Science Park simultaneously, which were a collaboration between the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and the Institute of the Future Cities of CUHK. During the pandemic, concerts in April 2020 were streamed live online, and received raved reviews. Shown below are snapshots taken at some of the concerts. |
