GPS Curriculum
In addition to the core curriculum of MBChB Programme, GPS focuses primarily on medical professional training, offers additional learning opportunities to students with high academic ability and interests in undergoing additional training in medical leadership in research, clinical service, healthcare administration and medical education.
- Year 1 and Year 2 students start GPS Leadership Series I in the first year of studies in GPS.
- Students are required to complete at least one 4 to 6-week GPS Internship before Year 6.
*Options of pursuing graduate studies:
| A = | Students can opt to take a gap year to pursue a 1 year of Master of Science in Research Medicine at CUHK after having completed the first three years of MBChB Programme and passed the First Professional Examination |
| B = | Within 2 years of conferment of MBChB, students can opt to pursue a Master or PhD degree at CUHK part-time or full-time at an overseas institution |
